No. Ayyappar Solutions Private Limited (ASPL) operates strictly as a technology platform and service provider offering Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and extended equipment protection plans. We coordinate repairs using authorized service centers and guarantee the cost of replacement parts and labor. We are not governed by IRDAI.
What happens if my device is completely destroyed and cannot be repaired?
If our authorized service engineers declare a device "Beyond Economic Repair" (BER)—usually due to catastrophic crushing (like being run over by a vehicle) or complete prolonged submersion where both the motherboard and display are totally destroyed—we provide a replacement or a monetary settlement based strictly on the policy terms. We ensure you are never left empty-handed.
Can I buy a plan for a used, second-hand, or refurbished device?
Yes! Under our updated ASPL Mobile Protection Plan, both New Mobiles (0–90 days old) and Existing / Old Mobiles (more than 90 days old) are eligible for protection. New mobiles enjoy 100% claim settlement with zero waiting period. Existing/old mobiles have a 90-day waiting period for display damage claims, with 90% of eligible claim costs paid by ASPL after 90 days (and 50% of the invoice amount credited if display damage occurs within the first 90 days).
